Rachel Lionheart is a performance artist, actor, and writer. Born in the Northwest and a graduate of New York University’s (NYU) Experimental Theater Wing, renowned for its interdisciplinary approach and graduates like Moises Kaufman, Chris Giarmo, and Kate Valk. Rachel has performed original, improvised, scripted, and collaborative works of theater in New York, Pennsylvania, Oregon, and Washington — among them Shitzokoko and The Funeral of Sir Francis Rottenfoot, Sr. Drawing from her studies in physical theater at NYU and mindfulness practices at The Shambhala Meditation Center of NY, Rachel facilitates workshops and masterclasses on improvisation, acting, and story-telling that are rooted in presence, physicality and vulnerability. Rachel lives in Tacoma and enjoys coffee, parks, and roof-top yoga.
